As we are a relatively small company, in terms of number of employees, every employee’s competence and creativity is of great importance. We are divided in the following professional areas:
Engineering
The employees in our development team design and implement new products and features within the Orc Technology - one of the world's leading trading systems. As a part of the technology they also develop connections to exchanges around the world. The product development primarily takes place in Stockholm, Moscow and St. Petersburg. A typical background for Orc Software's product developers is within computer science and/or mathematical background with advanced programming skills.
Sales & Marketing
Orc Software's sales force is located at offices in Amsterdam, Chicago, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, London, Milan, New York, Stockholm, Sydney, Toronto, Vienna and Zurich. Many of Orc Software's clients are leading firms in the international financial markets, which makes it essential to have an in-depth knowledge of how financial markets work and an excellent understanding of the clients' business. Many of Orc Software's sales people have a background from the financial markets and/or experience from selling advanced software. They generally have a degree from college or university studies in science or business administration.
Support
Orc Software's support team works closely with our clients on analysis and problem solving. They assist our clients in developing their operations and exploiting the resulting business opportunities. They also take part in the product development and assist clients with Orc Technology administrations and installations. The support personnel generally have a degree in engineering, computer or physical science, or business administration. They usually have working experience from the financial sector for example in trading, risk management or middle offices areas.
Finance and Administration
Finance and administration at Orc Software is primarily located in Stockholm and consists of finance, human resources, internal support and legal counseling.
